CROSSES, the new studio EP of ULAN is out now!
The Turkish alternative rock band that is formed by Volkan Diyaroglu and Ziya Levent Aybay, after launching their first studio album “DUA TARLASI”
by Sony Music Turkey in 2015 and their second studio album “UNDER RADAR” in 2017 in English, has released a self produced EP “CROSSES”.
The EP of 4 songs was recorded in 2018, in Spain. CROSSES has a layered and diverse sound with atmospheric guitars, strings and synths. With this EP the band defines itself between Post Rock and Art Rock with some jazz influences. Political and poetic lyrics complete the deep and dark sound of ULAN.
All songs of this EP are written by Volkan Diyaroglu.
All vocals, guitars, piano, synths and pads performed by Volkan Diyaroglu, bass by Ziya Levent Aybay, drums by Victor Traves.
Saxophone in Anthem for Anybody is performed by a Spanish jazz saxophonist Latino Blanco.
Mixed and mastered by Paco Morillas and Enrique Soriano (Crossfade Mastering) in Valencia, Spain, in 2018.
